Eight quality control checks for a piece of genuine leather

In our factory, a piece of leather material must pass at least eight checks from the time it enters the factory until it is made into a bag:

1. First check: material selection. Any leather with scratches, flaws, or uneven thickness is directly eliminated and never used as a compromise.
2. Second check: layout and cutting. Skilled craftsmen manually arrange the layout to avoid flaws and waste good leather.
3. Third check: sewing process. The stitches must be even, and any crooked stitch requires rework.
4. Fourth check: hardware installation. Buckles and zippers must be smooth and secure, without scratching or loosening.

5. Fifth step: oil edge sealing. The edges should be smooth and flat, without cracking or debonding.
6. Sixth step: semi-finished product inspection. Thread ends, crooked threads, and dirt should all be cleaned up.
7. Seventh step: final inspection of finished products. The overall shape, feel, and details should be checked one by one.
8. Eighth step: packaging and delivery. Put on dustproof bags and moisture-proof paper to ensure that the products are in perfect condition when delivered to customers.

But I’ve been making leather goods for 20 years, and I always have a bottom line in my heart: the bag that customers carry on their backs is our face. If you steal a little work or use a little less material, it may not be noticeable at the time, but it will show up after three months. Once your reputation is ruined, it will be difficult to pick it up again.
