Moncler Group Holds Above €3.1 Billion in FY2025 on DTC, Asia and AI Commerce

Moncler Group held its line in a difficult luxury climate. Its 2025 Annual Report, released 31 March 2026, showed revenue above €3.1 billion (€3,132.1 million, +0.7%), with gross profit over €2.4 billion and operating income of €913.4 million. Modest growth, but in a year when many peers struggled with Chinese softness and promotional creep, stability was the win.

Moncler, the group’s engine, rose 1% to €2,720.9 million, supported by adaptable DTC demand, strong outerwear positioning and experiences like Moncler Grenoble and Moncler Genius. Asia was its largest market at €1,416.0 million (+3%); EMEA eased 4% to €913.8 million; the Americas grew 3% to €391.1 million. DTC represented nearly all Moncler growth (€2,359.6 million, +1%), while wholesale fell as the group tightened distribution.

Stone Island grew 2% to €411.2 million, with Asia the star (+11% to €116.3 million) as China and Japan accelerated. Its DTC rose 8% to €226.4 million. Together, the two brands show Moncler Group’s knack for pairing creative identity with operational discipline.

The most forward-looking move was digital. In September 2025 Moncler launched a redesigned Moncler.com built with Google Generative AI — an immersive, storytelling-led destination rather than a transactional site. Session time rose 27% and mobile engagement 49%, positioning the group ahead of rivals still running catalog-style e-commerce.

Cultural positioning reinforced the brand. Moncler’s Grenoble showcase in Courchevel, first Met Gala appearance and “Warmer Together” campaign with Al Pacino and Robert De Niro kept it in the cultural conversation; Stone Island extended reach via STONE ISLAND SOUND, Frieze collaborations and ambassadors like Peggy Gou. Operationally, the group expanded Italian knitwear and Romanian outerwear production, and via Certilogo NFC authentication removed hundreds of thousands of counterfeit listings in 2025.

From April 2026, Leo Rongone becomes Group CEO, opening a new leadership phase. For leather and outerwear, Moncler’s FY2025 is a masterclass in protecting pricing power and desirability through controlled distribution, experience-led commerce and relentless brand building — even when top-line growth is flat.
